This was the final scheduled friendly for the Champions and we were made to work hard for the result in the second half.

Players wanted for the Midland Junior Premier League

Nuneaton Borough's Development team is looking for new players to join teams that will represent the Town in the Midland Junior Premier League. There will be new teams in the U12's, 14's, 15's and 18's, joining our teams that have already been entered in the under 13's, u16's and u17's age group.

The development School will be headed up by Youth Team and Birmingham City coach Jason Farndon. Players will have access to specialist coaching and play in the Saturday league.

These league's play on Saturday and becoming a member of this exciting development group of players will not affect your Sunday league or club.

Two Under 14's players gain 5 year awards

Matthew Carter and Nathan Whitehead of the Under 14's have gained awards after 5 years with the squad.

My thanks go to both players for their commitment and effort over the past 5 seasons and also thanks to their parents for getting them to the right places at the right times.

Well done to both of you.

Another supplementary fixture for the Champions against the league runners up, Westfield Wanderers. Last time out, we thrashed their club mates, the Spartans, 8-1, but the lads knew today would not be that easy.

UNBEATEN CHAMPIONS FINISH ON A HIGH. Champions Nuneaton Borough ended the season on a high with a solitary strike from Josh Brown which was enough to see them through against a battling Bulkington side who themselves will finish the season in second place.

Under 14's Fundraising

Nuneaton Borough Under 14's are finalising their fundraising efforts with a car wash at the Stockingford Royal Oak, Arbury Road on Saturday 19th April. 11am - 4pm.
Cars are charged at £2 and MPVs and 4x4s £3.
Please come and support us.
All funds raised go towards our trip to Lille in May.

Weddington Thistle (U13�s) 0-4 Nuneaton Borough (U13�s)

Borough goes clear in second place after a win that really belied how close the game was. Goals from Jamie Geddes, Nick Brown and a brace from Josh Devlin gave all three points to Boro, but overall it was a magnificent team performance from the boys in Orange that really sets up the last two games of the season nicely.

An early Thursday evening kick off meant the Boro had a tight deadline to get to Sandon park in time.

Nuneaton grapple Wolves for cup

NUNEATON Under-13s are in the hunt for silverware.

They have hit top form in the Midlands Divisional Walsall FC Challenge Cup and will take on Wolverhampton in the final at Walsall FC on a date to be arranged. This is the first time in a generation that Nuneaton have made it to a national final. The last time the team included a little known John Curtis.

TWO second-half goals helped Nuneaton overcome a spirited Binley Woods side to return to winning ways at Folly Lane Old Boys' Club.

After an even first half, a header from goal-keeper-turned-striker Mark Lovell shortly after the break got the ball rolling for Boro before Jack Vernon wrapped up the points with a second moments later.
