Last time out, we thrashed their club mates, the Spartans, 8-1, but the lads knew today would not be that easy.

Weddington Thistle (U13’s) 0-4 Nuneaton Borough (U13’s)

Borough goes clear in second place after a win that really belied how close the game was. Goals from Jamie Geddes, Nick Brown and a brace from Josh Devlin gave all three points to Boro, but overall it was a magnificent team performance from the boys in Orange that really sets up the last two games of the season nicely.

An early Thursday evening kick off meant the Boro had a tight deadline to get to Sandon park in time.
